The Isles of Scilly, situated 30 miles off the southwest tip of Cornwall, form an area of outstanding natural beauty. An interesting feature of the landscape is the number of granite outcrops that take on the form of naturally sculpted mysterious creatures or characters. Could this be a prototype for Neanderthal man?
