Bank Holiday Monday!

And, of course, the weather was predictably dull, wet and generally miserable!  But an enthusiastic photographer is not easily discouraged.  Beyond the raindrops on the window pane the scene provided a pleasing mix of patterns, textures and soft tones

Ruffled but unruffled

The rippling reflections of a moored boat create interesting patterns and textures that contrast with the smooth, graceful  movement of the swan.

Phantom dancers

Like strange, phantom dancers the wind turbines emerged slowly through the sea mist and then faded once more into oblivion.
