Glassware, seen through the frosted panels of the cabinet, produce a pleasing, colourful abstract picture.
I was attracted by the contrasting textures of pebble, seaweed and sand,
and by the simple, abstract hieroglyph of a strand of seaweed.
This is certainly the simplest of the four abstracts and probably, for the time being, my favourite. It seems to have about it an air of innocence and purity – at least, that’s what I hoped to convey! But, of course, it’s for you to decide.
