Species unknown

This rather scary-looking creature is, in fact, merely a root of seaweed left stranded and exposed on a rock at low tide.

It is not difficult to imagine the conversation as these three elderly citizens amble slowly into the oblivion that is time.

Who’s there?

This is, in fact, a simple seaweed pattern found on the beach  –  nothing added and nothing removed.  Only the colours have been removed and reduced to white on black.  Then, in my imagination, there emerges a young lady, nervously responding to a knock at the door, late at night
