This rather scary-looking creature is, in fact, merely a root of seaweed left stranded and exposed on a rock at low tide.

Who’s there?

This is, in fact, a simple seaweed pattern found on the beach  –  nothing added and nothing removed.  Only the colours have been removed and reduced to white on black.  Then, in my imagination, there emerges a young lady, nervously responding to a knock at the door, late at night
