‘How did it get so late so soon?’ (Dr Seuss)

 

 

There are few ‘finds’ more evocative of the past than a once-much-loved watch nestled away at the bottom of a sock drawer.  The moment in time may be frozen but associated memories begin to flow freely.

    • He was an integral part of the childhood of our children and grandchildren, but, alas, his cult staus came too late for my childhood!!
