Foam patterns

 

As a small child on my first visit to the seaside I was puzzled by the ‘lather’ at the edge of the sea.  My mother used soap powder, so perhaps God did too!

As an adult I am still fascinated by the foam.  I become totally absorbed  when watching the magical formation of ever-changing patterns as the sea’s energy explodes on the shore and then hurriedly withdraws.
