  1. Did you add the colours yourself, or were they more or less naturally like that – maybe with some enhancement? Not that it matters for the result, it’s great no matter what. But the colour palette is exquisite.

    • In the original I used a range of various shades of greens and blues. This image is a colour inversion of that original with adjustments in terms of saturation and tonal values. Both versions seemed to work reasonably well and no doubt I will use the other at some point.

  2. The formal abstracts don’t always appeal to me as much as some other work you do, but I appreciate that you do them and I really enjoy reading yours and Otto’s commentary. He’s right, this color palette is rich and jewel-like, absolutely delicious. (How’s that for a mixed metaphor?)

    • I readily admit that with some of my abstract patterns my enjoyment is as much from the process as from the image posted. That aspect is obviously personal and cannot easily be shared.
