Oh, those mustard fields! I saw a lot of that in Northern Europe, too. I like the last one a lot, the way it’s blurry closer to the car but in focus farther away. It’s fun, photographing from the car, isn’t it?
We know these as rape fields – with rape oil being the end product. When it first became a common feature of the landscape its acid yellow seemed alien to the softer tones of the English countryside, but either our eyes have become accustomed to the sight or crop varieties have adapted to English soil conditions.
