Quite a different pattern than what you usually show. I am not sure how you made it, but it’s really cool. Simplistic and yet captivating.
You’re quite right Otto – most of my abstract patterns are derived from natural forms or movement. In this instance I juggled a few rectangular shapes and added the colour later. I felt the coloured lines add a rhythm and flow to an otherwise rather static image.
You’re right about the color, and what struck me was that this feels so organized – it’s almost like an advert for organization! 😉
I like the analogy!
