View from the Tate

The Tate in the title refers to the Tate Gallery at St Ives.  The picture was taken from a window in the restaurant on the top floor.  I was attracted by the pattern of  activity on the beach below and wondered what L S Lowry might have made of the scene!

  1. Perfect little matchstick figures! 🙂

  2. I like how people are scattered randomly around on the beach, and still make up some kind of pattern, almost like notes in a score.

  3. I noticed something like what Otto talks about – something about the arrangement of the people, the space between them, is really nice.
