A really interesting landscape with a strong painterly quality. Could have been taking in my part of the world (Norway). I love the cool colour palette.
Thanks Otto. Its not surprising that you find similarities with Norway. There is just about 2 degrees latitude difference between Skye and Stavanger and both are exposed to the Atlantic
I don’t know why, but I find there is something quite eerie about this …
That’s interesting. There is rather a brooding atmosphere about the scene and if you are influenced by that maybe the fisherman’s line can assume a disturbing significance. As always, much depends on what the viewer brings to the picture!
