I’m assuming it really is a beach and you’re not toying with us?! Anyway, assuming it is; what are they doing? Shifting the sands back?!
Thanks Noeline. It’s the genuine article! To prepare for ‘the season’, first the seaweed deposited over the winter is collected and taken to provide fertilizer for farms nearby, and then the beach is raked over to remove any other detritus and generally freshen things up. To find a tractor driver with artistic flare is a real bonus!

Interesting to read what you said above – no, pretty amazing, when I think of beaches I have known, where nothing like that would ever happen.
Thanks Lynn. I hasten to add that this beach was not in the UK. It was at Cala Llonga, Ibiza The original shot was taken about thirty years ago!
