Today’s post and the two following offer three interpretations of the same object  –  a cracked drinking glass

In this image the glass is presented as a straight still life photo.

  3. This is beautiful; I really like the composition, lines and muted palette – as Elena says, reminiscent of a drawing – or maybe more pen/ink or charcoal …

    • Thanks Noeline. I’m trying to explore the ‘cross-over territory’ between painting,drawing,etching and photography. While certain similarities with the variousr media are often apparent, the outcome is essentially digital – a product of our age that, for me, is neither better nor worse than many earlier developments. It is merely another tool.
