Backlighting is wonderful – I love the way it has picked out all the veins in the leaves and adds a fine halo. This shot is particularly effective by keeping the background dark and simple. Right up my street!
I’m not surprised you like it! The pelargonium was brought into the house to protect it from frost. It sits on a west facing windowsill.
