I savour being ‘far from the madding crowd’, and I enjoy beauty in all its forms but especially, perhaps, natural beauty. It is not surprising, therefore, that I find something idyllic about the seashore on a still day.

Wonderful post, Louis! I am all packed and set to go to North Norfolk right now and I sure know what you are talking about. I love all three photos, but especially the last one. It looks like the sea is presenting us a golden wave.
