The Beach in November (2)

The pictures below were originally presented in full colour in the post of 2 December  (see The Beach in November) but I became increasingly aware of the timelessness of the scene, and have attempted to capture this aspect in the images below.

    Its timeless alright. Why do Britain’s beaches so often look old? Meaning old fashioned. Meaning timeless. Everything is razzle dazzle here by comparison. So different. 🙂

    • I’m sure your observation is right. Maybe the explanation has something to do with the relative scale of the landscape (most beaches in the UK are, by comparison, quite small) and, possibly, a difference in national temperament and heritage.
