The late afternoon sunlight played on the gently rippling waters beside the quay. I was alone except for two small children at the far end of the quay, excitedly ‘crabbing’ under the watchful supervision of their grandparents.

I love the pattern the ripples create, and how the tones go from lighter in the bottom of the picture to darker above.
