The joy of summer!
Garden envy strikes!
I think the work involved might make you a little less envious!!
You’re right – it’s a lot, and I tend to forget that. I actually worked for a while on an estate in NY – I was the only gardener & it was huge. Very hard work. But the beauty…
So much variety! Your garden does you proud!
Many thanks Elena. You’re very kind.
Very pretty! And a water lily! And a thistle, my old emblem:)
Thanks for rescuing me from the Spam!! And thanks for appreciating my post – but it isn’t a thistle, it’s a form of sea holly (Eryngium)
what a lovely set of photos! that first one is an amazing cocktail of color!
Many thanks z. The garden gives us great pleasure.
Beautiful shots! I particularly like the ‘thistle’ – sorry, I don’t know its proper name!
Thanks Noeline. The ‘thistle’ is, in fact, an Eryngium. There are several different varieties and most have this characteristic blue foliage. It’s a personal favourite.
