I would never have guessed garlic – it looks more like a fungus to me. ….. but maybe garlic is more aggressive?!
I was so absorbed in the shapes, textures and tones of the object its actual identity almost passed me by.
This is gorgeous. I missed this post, and I’m glad I found it! I like the way the photo plays with scale – it could be something huge – certainly you imply that with the text – and it’s also an intimate image of an everyday object. But – not from the angle we’re used to. Wonderful composition & tones, too.
