Abstract 139 ‘Reflection’

I was intrigued by the abstract pattern of the reflections in my neighbours’ window.

  1. I can see why your were intrigued. So many things to see, marvelous color and shapes.

    • I’m still intrigued – as you say, by the colour and shapes and also by the natural internal relationships within the composition. It reminds me a little of some of the abstract paintings of Braque around 1908-1910 – and I seek no credit for that!! It’s just the way the reflections arranged themselves!

  2. Oooo I love this exactly for the reasons Elena gave 🙂

  3. Many thanks Helen. It was a ‘must take’ for any photographer.

    • That’s a fascinating thought. Probably Bach would applaud the clarity of structure and the control over the emotional expression, but perhaps his lines would have been rather more ornate in the Baroque tradition.
