I take many pictures of trees – perhaps too many! – but the birch takes pride of place.

No such thing as too many pictures;) Beautiful birches.
Thanks for your encouragement, Elena.
ditto… and in my case, i would add: never such a thing as “too many pictures of TREES” (as i’ve long ago lost count)… just lovely! 🙂
OK I get the message! We all like trees!!
I agree with the two preceding comments, there is never such thing as too many pictures. At least not during the capturing stage. These are two fine pictures of birches. I like the composition of the first one, and the better definition of the second one. Those weeping branches of the first tree is just amazing.
Many thanks for your comment. The fact is that when I have a camera in my hands I find trees, waves and running water irresistible – and I’m also reluctant to trash them because some day they might be useful!
One should never trash any picture, I believe. For exact that reason. Keeping pictures is easy and inexpensive with digital storage hardly costing anything more.
I love birches. And these. Your work is really, really beautiful. there is a stillness to it that is very touching, wonderful. Thankyou 🙂
You’re very generous. Many thanks.
