The snow was around for perhaps 72 hours. It disappeared as quickly as it had arrived, washed away by an extended period of rain. The farm track beside the sheep field became virtually impassable, but the sunlight on the puddles produced interesting abstract patterns.
All change!

Where did the violet come from? Sun reflection or thin film of grease on top of the water? In any case, it works for the photo!
I was attracted to these shots by their abstract potential rather than a wish to photograph puddles! The colour is simply a consequence of the level of saturation. The red leaves were given a little extra.
